Mass tourism leads to overcrowded popular sights. The RESONATE orientation aid aims to restore the adventurous and transformative essence of travel. Rather than a turn-by-turn navigation aid, it guides travelers through cities without looking at their smartphones, using haptic feedback to indicate direction and distance. Tourists must find their own path and discover new sights, fostering a deeper connection with the surrounding world—a concept sociologist Hartmut Rosa refers to as „Resonance“.
